This demonstration showcases the connection between electricity and magnetism by providing an insight into the behavior of wires under electric current and influence of the magnetic field of each of them.

- How to assemble and operate
- 1. Set up the wires so that it is possible to change the direction of the current running through one of them.
- 2. This way, when you turn on the power supply the wires will either go closer together or further apart depending on if the current running in them goes in the opposite or the identical direction. There is space to discuss with the students about why this happens and make them guess in which direction the current flows depending on the behaviour of wires.
