6A20.30 - mirrors, blackboard optics, curved mirrors

This demonstration shows the behavior of light rays in optics when they hit a curved mirror.

Comments/Notes:It is very important to never go above 12 VDC in this demonstration, as the lightbulb cannot handle more.

  • Equipment
  • Whiteboard
  • Blackboard optics set
  • Two distinct curved mirrors from the set
  • How to assemble and operate
  • 1. Connect the blackboard optics set to power supply to up to 12V DC, make sure it never goes above 12V
  • 2. Point the light rays on the curved mirrors and observe the results
