This demonstration shows the behavior of light rays in optics when they hit a straight mirror.
Comments/Notes:It is very important to never go above 12 VDC in this demonstration, as the lightbulb cannot handle more.
- Equipment
- Whiteboard
- Blackboard optics set
- Straight mirrors from the set
- How to assemble and operate
- 1. Connect the blackboard optics set to power supply to up to 12V DC, make sure it never goes above 12V
- 2. Point the light rays on the straight mirrors and observe the results
- 3. Incident angle can be explained using this demonstration
