This demonstration illustrates different oscillation modes for a coupled mechanical oscillator. The pendulum will show alternating vertical and rotational motion.

- Wilberforce pendulum and masses
- How to assemble and operate
- 1. Set up the clamps and stand
- 2. Place the pendulum on the end of the spring
- 3. Hang the other end of the spring from the stand
- 4. Adjust the small masses on the pendulum if needed and set pendulum in motion
