This demonstration uses triangle and light to show how light consists of all the colors.
Comments/Notes:It is very important to never go above 12 VDC in this demonstration, as the lightbulb cannot handle more.
- Equipment
- Whiteboard
- Blackboard optics set
- Glass triangle from the set
- Rectangular shade from the set
- How to assemble and operate
- 1. Connect the blackboard optics set to power supply to up to 12V DC, make sure it never goes above 12V
- 2. Point a light ray into the triangle in a position where the light that exits the glass triangle creates a rainbow. One can put the shade block after the leaving light ray to better display the rainbow
